The starter is failing on my 2008 320d 6sp N47. Been pricing a few jobs with mechanics one of which is the starter. I've been told its either under the intake manifold which is a pain to get to or its under the car near the sump which is much easier. Obviously the price changes depending on the location as the labour charge goes up. Can anyone confirm the location of the starter motor.
