Boston Green E36 What Colour Alloys?

Lads, just looking for opinions as I have not come to a conclusion on this yet.

Have a set of dished style 24's that are currently plasti dipped black.

Not sure whether to keep them that colour or go with OEM or something else.

    So fellow E36 aficionados - a poll! Hurrah :P

    (Not my car..just for reference)

    Black

    OEM

I think that Boston Green works well with Black! But all 3 mentioned look great; black, silver, silver centre and polished lip!

Was having a quick Google and stumbled upon the image below.
Thought gold with a polished lip, might work, but thinking about it, Im not sure if it would work with Motorsports!

Just added the poll there

Yeah see I agree with all comments so far.

OEM + polished lip is a winner! But has it been over done?

Black looks good but is there too much black going on around the wheel?

Gold - Well I think style 5 and gold centers are a winner, not so sure on motorsports as they don't lend themselves to differing colours? That being said there is a set on e36coupe.com that have a polished lip and subaru gold/yellow center that look well. No pics of them on a car though.

I guess the reason this is a big deal to me is that if I go black I'm thinking right we'll go aggressive with the styling and if I go with OEM then it would be more the clean euro look.

Hmmmm......any other thoughts? Thanks for the replies so far!

I have two lovely sets and this is my third set over all. So I do like them. What would you class as bastardised? Anything bar OEM?

OEM silver centres and diamond cut lips

Personally I think back doesn't suit Boston Green. Even though it's name is Boston Green Metallic it's actually a pearl colour so it needs a lot of light to make it look its best. The black wheels for me add a lot of darkness and make the colour look duller.
Then again I've never seen black wheels with boston green in person and it's hard to judge from a picture. Bring both sets to a meet Dave and we can see from there :P
