    E90/1 335i Lci

I’ve been casually searching for the above recently and struggling to find any for sale. I’m not in the market for it right now but wanted to see what realistically there going for?

Ideally the N55 engine and auto a must. 335d is the easy option but fancy a fast petrol so anybody come across them on there travels recently?

Obviously it’ll have to be a UK import.

There’s only one e91 335i LCI I’m aware of in Ireland. It’s N54, manual, tastefully modified, and not for sale as far as I know... but you never know, perhaps you can persuade him with large bags of cash, that’s how these things usually go

Edit: no idea how much they go for in the UK nor what the vrt is.

Yeah I know the car, I actually looked at it for him prior to him buying the car. Very nice but it’s a manual, must be auto for me

I looked at one in Conlons in limerick back around 2011/12, a black manual ‘07 car. It was bought at that stage by someone on another forum, possible bmw-driver. It was an LK reg, had a full BMW history and had had the turbo’s replaced a little while before, iirc.
    Current: BMW 530e M-Sport - '17, BMW 630i Sport auto - '07, BMW 325i Coupe - '93, BMW Z4 2.5si Auto - '07, '90 BMW 316i Lux.

    Previous: BMW 328i Coupe - '96, BMW 530i SE auto - '07, BMW 530i Sport auto - '02, BMW 318i SE Touring - '07, BMW 330Ci Sport - '04, BMW 520d SE - '11, BMW 523i SE - '00, BMW 328i SE Touring - '00, BMW 523i SE - '97, BMW 323i SE - '98, 330Ci - '00, 325i Coupe - '93, 318Ci - '01, 316iSE - '98, 325iSE 2dr - '91, 320i Conv - '91, 325i Coupe - '92, 320i 2dr - '91.

Do a google search of 335i "wastegate" issues. That will be the main problem so make sure there is evidence of it being sorted (both turbos replaced) on any car you view.

Less of an issue on the N55 and I don't think it's too much of a worry for Conor

Yeah I’d just live with the rattle

For me personally it must be a saloon/estate and a LCI so post 08.

I had been searching for something similar, but only wanted to buy from a UK or NI main dealer...this was a while back, but nothing came up.
Maybe start looking at 2013 or 2014 ones, they're about €4k to €5k to VRT and a main dealer one will be about £17k to £20k. They have the €570 a year tax (and strangely a similar year 135i has the higher rate)

Unfortunately the newer ones F30/1 just fall out of my budget but there are more options out there in finding one.

Ah yeah, if you can work on it yourself, you've alot more options.
I'd never buy a BMW now without an AUC warranty, then again I can only just about change a spark plug
