E60 Recall

Apparently there’s recall on all e60’s

Piece needs to be cut out of the boot floor and a plastic piece bonded back in!

Yep, have mine booked in for next week...no idea what's involved

I had mine in last week for 2 recalls. One was the rear tail-light cluster related one and I assume this was the other. They didn't elaborate a lot on what was involved but the car was dropped and returned well within a working day.

As an aside, the e39 is going in tomorrow for an airbag recall and the e63 is due in too. Mrs D's old e91 was in for one earlier this year before I sold it. That's a lot of recalls for one household in a given year. I would acknowledge that its not a typical household in terms of the number of BMW's but its still a lot of unscheduled pitstops.
