That's reminder to all S54 owners about vanos oil pump sprocket failures-to be honest i heard a lot about it but never seen it my self,now i have seen it and repaired it
By the way car was running 100%,all he come in is just for valve adjustment,and inspecting everything i noticed something else.This was very lucky that that broken bit didnt go in to the chain,we cough it right on time .
Another scary thing,that's what happens when you add 2/3 oh the original power of the engine.Engine is fine but other parts will start to give a bit of the trouble
