I can't stand "mint condition" it has lost all meaning...
I think Donedeal should have a list of definitions on the site so that there is a more widely understood and accepted standard.
Mint = like new, no scratches, no dents, no wear nor damage of any kind.
Great = not mint, minor imperfections (slight wear on the driver seat bolster etc)
Good = ..............
Average =
Poor =
etc
Not saying it would change everybody's behaviour but it would certainly help. I think it could be a step in the ad creating process, and with the definitions there, you would have to be downright lying to ignore them and claim a less than average car is mint.
The one I can never get my ahead around, yet so many use it is 'Clean Car' - wtf does that mean ? It's been washed ?
It gives absolutely no indication as to the owners perceived condition of his/her car (no doubt different to the buyers idea).....
