    Alpina Models - Your Favourite?

Had a quick look and I don't think there is a similar thread to this. Post your favourite Alpina models over the years (Andy, expecting big things from you here )

The latest and greatest? B3 Touring.

Impressive. All the show cars are spec’d up to the last so it’s hard to say what they’d look like without €20-40k of options.

E34 b10 bi-turbo, anything after that was just a badging exercise in my eyes. Ok they made some cool diesels since but their petrol offerings started becoming a bit tame.

Maybe I’m not inline with the spirit of Alpina but I like fast things that are a bit obnoxious. I think the e34 bi-turbo is just that.

It has lots of bespoke parts, alpina trimmed recaros and it could walk away from nearly anything else on the road at that time.

    Alpina Models - Your Favourite?

Really I have so many. The two turbos I had were immense with the ability to leave sitting anything BMW offered at the time of production. Here is the B7 (no 89 of 149) with 300bhp and B7 Turbo S (no 59 of 60) with 330bhp. They were so different to an E12 with so many different components.

I want give anything to have my old Alpina’s back but they are too expensive now.

There was something so satisfying and simple about the E21 A1/3 car no 21. Not huge power but great fun. Again special seats helped.

I will get more photos if anyone is interested of interiors etc. Also I can share pictures of all the other Alpinas I looked at.

Funny I actually tracked down the owner of the green Irish registered B10 Bi-Turbo E34 this week.
