    E60 alarm coding help

    Hi,

I’ve tried to code my alarm acoustic signal for locking/unlocking.

Until now I’ve had the caustic signal(beep) but no options to enable /disable via I drive.

I wanted to stop the beeping as it’s just so loud and obtrusive.

    Using NCSexpert I coded MASK,
    Set acoustic to aktiv

    Change the following to fkt_frei
    C941c
    K9416
    C9413

I now have the options to enable /disable in idrive, however, whatever I do I can’t stop it beeping when I lock, I can stop the unlock double beep though.

    Any suggestions?

I used the ncsdummy profile but manually changed the trace file.

On another note, I added the oil level check to idrive but it says it can’t be measured at this time or something like that. Is this correct that the oil can’t be measured on M47 engine or is there a workaround?

    Cheers.
    Jd.

    Resolved.

I default coded the DWAI(alarm) module. Now the changes made in idrive take effect.

The last person to meddle with it coded it all wrong obviously.
