Assuming it's over 15 years old, your options are extremely limited otherwise as most leading insurance companies no longer are interested in 15yo+ cars.

BTW, NCB mirroring is not available via any of the 10+ insurers/brokers I had tried late last year.

Not if you have it insured already in your name once it rolls over 15 years - they won't refuse a renewal, only new business for 15yo cars.

No idea why - they can do wtf they like - higher risk me hole....
