Anywhere still open for (proper) washes / detailing?

Can’t stand looking at the M3 like this

Snowfoamed and rinsed at a friend’s yesterday to get the heavy dirt off but it’s still filthy.

Anywhere open to do a wash, decontamination/de-tar, and a seal? Everything bar polishing basically.

5 Star is closed and JC Autocare seem to be flat out.

I don’t have so much as a wash mitt

Planning a detailing products shopping spree soon including pressure washer etc but I’d like my car clean in the mean time

Further lock down coming in 45 minutes Peter, you need to be very quick!

I would resist the urge to go at it with anything other than proper cleaning gear. The only one I would keep an eye on are the bird droppings, plenty of water to rinse them off, let them soak and don't go in rubbing with a paper towel.

    Right, Halford's Run:

    - Karcher K2 Pressure washer
    - 2 buckets + grit guards
    - Mitt
    - Shampoo
    - Decontamination product?
    - Clay kit
    - Drying towels
    - Liquid wax
    - Tyre dress
    - Auto sol
    - Microfibre cloths
    - Wheel brush + (alloy wheel product? Iron X if they have it?)
    - Glass cleaner
    - Leather cleaner + conditioner
    - Dash / intrerior trim.... wipes?
    - C4 trim restorer

Have I missed anything? anything overkill? Bear in mind I have nothing, was in an apartment before moving to the new house.

This will be good to keep me busy! If I can make it to Halford's...

Get something bigger than a k2. When your old k2 does I used my fil’s k5 and it does such a better job so I’d say get something bigger.
