    Outdoor Car Covers

So what are people using & recommending ? Want to cocoon the E39 for a few months so need a good quality cover that doesn't cost the earth.

This tailored StormForce Plus looks good (especially with the 360 hemline tension string) - it's pricey enough, but I suppose that's the price you need to pay for tailored for each model, breathability, fleece lined and won't blow into the neighbours garden with the first bit of wind....

Many years ago I bought an outdoor one from https://www.classicadditions.com/en-...ml_1052-166862 for an e30 convertible I had. A decent one isn't cheap, but I'd say that a cheap one is probably only marginally better than none, at best.

I think I have a couple of spare ones at home. I'll check the size and you're welcome to have a look.

I had a Stormforce Plus cover for a few years before I got my Carcoon. It was good quality and fitted very well.

Would you not consider a carcoon system?

While certainly the pinnacle of outdoor storage solutions, €800+ is not really what I was looking to shell out.

It's not exactly a high value car, it's not long term storage and lastly where it will be parked is nowhere near a power outlet......
