The link in the sticky thread above doesn’t seem to work for me.
Can anyone recommend a free VIN decoder that gives access to the full build sheet showing all options, etc.? I’ve found a few websites but they all only give very basic spec information.

bmwfans.info have a decoder which has always worked fine for me.
Thanks, that works for me too but it only gives the basic information like year, body type, engine, production date and region, but not the full build sheet with all the options, etc.?
It’s free for me whenever I use it. Maybe clear your cookies and try again.
I've cleared cookies and tried it on three different devices now to no avail!
If anyone has access to one and would be willing to run a VIN through it for me I'd be much obliged.

Hi,
mdecoder.com seems to be working again. However I ran my VIN through it and there are some anomalies. It’s saying my steering is left hand drive (it isn’t) and that the upholstery is “Cloth "Laser"/anthracite” (it’s actually cream leather). It also just says “0” for the displacement and power.
Any idea why this would be the case, or does anyone have any other VIN decoders that I could try?
