Sold my 335i a month ago, my first venture into BMW and got me interested, now that the new house if sorted, its time for a new car


2017 M140i 5 door auto







Only picked it up tonight, arrived on the back of a transporter from UK about 8pm, took the long way to the petrol station, so far so good, this B58 engine is a peach it seems!

Looks lovely, how does it compare to the n54?

So far so good but from my initial 24 hour review I'm liking this b58 Platform. Twinscroll turbo with the zf8 is a great match. It could easily take a remap on both the engine and gearbox to turn on beast mode. It's very stealthy conforming car out of the box. Slightly muted engine tone and exhaust though from in the cabin, easy to change that though
