Question for the knowledgeable? E91 brake upgrade

    Hi guys,

Quick question for anyone who may have an insight.

    Have an e91 318d/320d 2008 daily driver.

Needs discs, and have had a reoccurring caliper issue so 1/2 calipers, passenger side done flexes/cleaned calipers internally/bled still sticking so defo need replacing.

Can get 335i calipers and carriers for a handy price so would like to fit even though I'm aware they'd be overkill on a measly 170 breaker.

I often carry heavy loads in the back engines/gboxes etc, also wouldnt mint having hefty discs and calipers behind the wheels either.

I've run into different opinions online some saying they bolt straight on with carriers some saying hubs need to be changed

Anybody done it? Know of someone who has, can it be done? Won't bother if I need hubs as well

Might not need hubs but maybe bigger wheels to clear the larger Caliper and disc

Easiest way is to compare the part numbers on realoem!
    E60 LCI 530i | E92 335i - Sold | E39 530i Sport - Sold | E30 318iS - Sold | E39 530d Sport - Sold | E30 318iS - Sold

    My new favourite is:

    http://www.hubauer-shop.de

I ordered a good few bits from them, good savings if you're spending a few hundred euro on parts. Even if you are not ordering it's a great place to get pricing. I used to like www.carparts-pros.com but their pricing has gone way out of whack lately.

Well lads cheers for the advice, picked up all the bits yesterday everything fitted on plug and play no need for new hubs or any of the shite they had been saying on English forums.

Car already has 18 acs type 3s on it so clearance wasn't an issue, 17s will definitely not fit over the 348 discs and the hefty front calipers though.
