Back in early March, before lock-downs, etc. I had the 630i tested but they were unable to do the lift based tests because of the issues with them then, and C-19 followed shortly after. Today I booked for the free follow up and took one of a number of available test slots in Limerick next week.

Immediately afterwards I went to book a test for the e60 530i. Its due around now, but I got a letter recently giving a 6 month extension before the test is formally due. I want to get it tested now anyway. The best date available date in Limerick was November 9th, not too bad, but clearly showing a bias towards the backlog that has built up, so I checked a number of centres in adjacent counties to see if there was anything better available. Some were showing Feb 2021 and further out as the first available dates. How mad is that?

Yeah I was hoping to book mine in for November. Earliest I could get was 5th Jan in little island Cork.

I booked mine the first week of August in Deansgrange and the earliest appointment at that time was second week of November.....

If it helps anyone, I've found that if you can check around 7 or 8am you'll see some cancellations dates coming back up to book.
