I think that Cayenne is classed as a commercial. That could be a bit tricky from an insurance point of view if its used as family car. Unfortunately that might only become apparent if you were unfortunate enough to need to resort to it. It might not be so family friendly then....

I suspect they only recently re-classified it as an N1 commercial 5 seater vehicle due to having little interest as it was.
Assuming VRT has been paid as a normal car, it would be very easy to revert back as it's just a paperwork change.

Anyway - he thinks a snorting 4.8 V8 is a girly car, so he's out.....
