Wanted: E46 Window Regulator O/S Front Saloon

As above, need a driver's side front window regulator for my E46 saloon.
One from a touring will also work.

Anyone have one for sale?

Otherwise, anyone have experience with new regulators from ebay sellers?
Can get one for about €35 delivered

Deffo need a replacement? They can usually be fixed with a repair kit(loads on eBay) or even with cable ties

Have read about that alright John, but didn't think that'd actually work?

Window is a little slow and makes a slight crunch noise half way down.

Replaced a rear one a few years ago, which was totally knackered, so
maybe this one can be fixed

Yeah fixed my own using cable ties, was supposed to be temporary but they are still trucking a few years later.
The cables are supposed to clip onto these plastic parts which end up breaking. There are enough holes to use small cable ties to hold it back tightly in place, or you can replace the plastic clip itself.
It's a little fiddly but easier than replacing the whole thing id imagine.

Cheers John, what were the symptoms yours showed?

It was the very same as yours until eventually a crack sound and the window stopped working.
Worth a look inside to see if that's your problem. You'll see if the cables are slack.
