    I sold my F30 330d in December and I'm picking up a 162 M4 on Wednesday.

Plans for it are a full paint correction (myself), full interior detail in D&D and maybe get the alloys refurbished.

I had a feeling it was that car because I had that ad saved on DoneDeal for a while and it disappeared around the same time you posted about your acquisition. Looks like a lovely machine, enjoy!

tackle the grubby front bumper (previous owner ordered the car with the m performance carbon trims..then pulled them off when he traded the car in,leaving the bumper in a bit of a state)
give it a good service before the nct
give it one good last road trip before i look to sell it on (fingers crossed for a lifting of travel restrictions before the end of the year)

The plan for 2021 was to sell the 530d and get into a petrol...but, I think common sense has prevailed and as the E60 has turned out to be a very reliable car, I’m going to hold on to it.
Apart from the hideous tax, there are no real drawbacks. I’ll be servicing it this month, the 135M wheels are going back on it next month along with fresh rubber and that’s about it. It does have some damage to the passenger side due to someone driving into it outside my house (hit and run) but I reckon it would cost over a grand to fix and the car is probably only worth €3/4K at this stage!

Don’t compare the cost of the repair to the value of the car. A better comparison is the cost to upgrade v the cost to repair.

A grand spent now would keep it looking fresh for a few more years.
