Apart from the hideous tax, there are no real drawbacks. I’ll be servicing it this month, the 135M wheels are going back on it next month along with fresh rubber and that’s about it. It does have some damage to the passenger side due to someone driving into it outside my house (hit and run) but I reckon it would cost over a grand to fix and the car is probably only worth €3/4K at this stage!

Don’t compare the cost of the repair to the value of the car. A better comparison is the cost to upgrade v the cost to repair.

A grand spent now would keep it looking fresh for a few more years.
