E90 engine swap options

Have a e90 and chain has slipped.so no good.prefer to upgrade to bigger engine.
It's a 2007 318i so shit anyway.
Would any of the E60 2.5 engines fit.
I'd prefer a straight forward swap .has to be automatic too.

Better dont start that mess.... Usually if chain brokes, dont really do any damage. Just fit new chain, and it might be running again. But once do chain, best would be to do valve stem seals as well, and once camshafts will be off, easy to check if there is any damage to valves, air hose in to cylinder...
