    Yes I think all imported cars except pre 2008 will fall into the new wltp tax rates if imported after Jan 2021.

    Revenue will use the formula to calculate any nedc stuff to wltp. So there will be an increase over the equivalent car that was registered here before Jan 2021.

    I only had a quick look at some cars and the jump wasn't huge. But the higher Co2 cars will probably top out at the highest rates.

    Edit. Just had a look at how it would effect a F80 M3, the Co2 rate pre 2021 was 194 and €1200 for the year. Using the revenue formula to bring it in line with the WLTP Co2 it brings it up to 213 so it falls into the €1250. So only €50 extra which isnt bad.

    More importantly, what car is it?
