    Ok thanks lads. I'll give it a try so with half a bottle in the tank. Looks like it could be awkward to measure though. I might have to find something to pour it into first.

    Yep that's what I do. The bottles are dark plastic so you have no way to judge the levels. The stuff also seems pretty toxic so I'd avoid getting it on your hands.

    I just noticed this morning Applegreen have a 97 octane at their pumps called Super Plus or something. I have no idea if it’s any good.

    False advertising. There are no pump fuels in the south selling 97.
