    Wheel Alignment recommendations

    Lads,

Have a friend looking to get an alignment done on his Porsche GT4 for an upcoming track day

Front: Camber -1.6 to – 2.0; Toe zero, or slightly toe in
Rear: Camber -1.4 to -1.6; Toe in.

Is there someone you would recommend?

Depends where he's based - Tom in Fahy's, Oranmore, Galway would be very skilled in this type setup.

Always been happy with Discount Tyres in Blanch - could be a trek depending on where your mate is though!

Would you rate them higher than Dave McCann in Coolmine?

Is it just a straight forward alignment he's looking for or a proper trackday optimisation setup (corner weighting with the driver weight in the seat etc. ?)

Bad experience Ken, or had there been some changes there? They would once have been highly regarded for this.

Very bad experience a few years back - haven't used them since. Phoenix Tyres did a good job on the Porsche too now that I think about it.

I would say he would be interested in a proper track setup with weights. He’s based in Drogheda but happy to travel.

Tom Fahy is the only one I ever hear of doing that
