Quick MAF question lads, whenever mine is plugged in on my 525i the engine light will eventually pop on with lambda sensor issues, is this a faulty MAF sending false air signals and is due a replacement? My transmission also doesn't shift right and I have a slight rough idle when cold which I've read can all also be symptoms?

Check for air leaks, esp the intake boots from the maf to the throttle.

I have previously replaced the upper intake boot and the lower looked OK, will take it out again and see if it has since degraded.
