New MAF - do I need reset adaptation ? E46 320d

I will get new MAF and I read that I need to reset some MAF adaptation.

Is this true or I can just simply plug and play ? I do have INPA. Can I do it there?
It's eu4 will be the same part number.

I think everything is reset every time the maf is unplugged

I've watched some videos on YouTube showing that DIS can reset adaptation.
So not sure if this needs to be done.

Just be careful with that stuff as you will end up with more problems than when you started!

I know. That's why I'm just asking around. The other people said that car will adapt itself in next. Couple of days after new MAF installed. Maybe this would be the safest option.

But maybe someone did this before and has some feedback
