Just looking for some advice on buying a car from a garage please, it's on U.K. plates which the garage are sorting and also ncting it so I won't be driving it away on the day if we agree on a price, do I pay a small deposit and the balance when I collect the car?

Just Incase you don't know, You can get all the MOT history online if it's old enough. (3 years for 1st MOT)
Cheers, it's 6 years old and still wearing the original U.K. Plates so will give it a check

Defo worth checking mot history online as it gives the mileage when it was MOTed.
