    Something different for the weekend

Hi all. As the title says, I'm on the hunt for a weekend car. One that needs a little work but not a complete basket case with astronomical mileage. Can't be newer than 97 for the classic insurance (I already have two insurance policies and can't afford to start another no claims). Ideally an E36 cabrio or a Z3, around two litres. Any help would be appreciated.

RossYB. I'd love to but I'm already taxing a 3 litre 5 series and a 2 litre Subaru.

If tax is a issue go vintage. No idea of your budget but seen this earlier and thought it was cool https://www.donedeal.ie/view/13031878
