BMTechnic and broken laptop

Hi everyone,

I have installed my BMTechnic on laptop, but unfortunately my laptop is broken and I cant use the software any more.

I have the softwore, cable and activation code but when I'm trying to install the software on new laptop the activation code doesnt work. It says something that the software is installed on another computer or something like that.

Is there anyway to get this working again??

Its probably a single use license, so you will most likely need a new activation code. Could you remove the HDD from you old laptop and have it cloned?

BM Technic got shut down by BMW (indirectly). So you cannot reactivate now unfortunately.

Your options:
- Transfer your hard drive to another identical laptop.
- Purchase from cable-shack.co.uk or bmcables.com

The BMTechnic cable is still good for use with any software downloads for use with BMW (Rheingold, DIS, INPA, NCS Expert (Standard Tools), etc.

I ripped the bmcables iso, I'll set up an sftp server later if people are looking for it.
