2006 manual 520d sport. A customer of mine is looking for a decent 15-20mm drop over his standard sport suspension. So the basic questions are what and where to get?
Car needs rear shocks also so if that could be factored in. Doesn't want cheap springs or coilovers.

I'm nearly sure he will need front shocks as well, when u take off old springs u will found that they are not really good. I would go for H@R springs if its option for E60,i had them on my black E92 ,and would go for sacks or boge shocks

I've previously opted for Eibachs in 2 of my last e60s.
I went with the Eibach ProKit for my 2006 e60 520d...very subtle drop and not much difference from standard spring, in regards to drop and comfort.
I opted for the Eibach Sportlines in my 2007 e60 520d. The drop with these was that bit more, gave the car that more road presence without losing its comfort.
I'd recommend either...depending on how much of a drop he wants.
