Bluetooth audio on F30

Can anyone help me out here i recently bought a 2013 330d and while i can connect the phone to the bluetooth it wont play my audio,BMW's site says my phone isnt compatible (sony xperia xz premium) but from reading online a lot of people can get it to work all i need to do is go into developer options on my phone and change a bluetooth setting,ive done that and still nothing ,anybody else have any suggestions?

Right at the minute my kit is out of action, all the tokens for E-Sys all over the world expired 1st Jan 2018. So a lot of unhappy coders at the minute. I am trying to sort a new token for the past few days.

I think at some point in either 2013 or 2014 NBT was fitted and it may be possible to enable without combox. However I need to double check.

How would i know if the car has a combox where is it located?,i wouldnt think it has it just looks like a basic idrive system to me

Germaniks activated all my stuff after NBT retrofit in my f30, my can had standard system i think like yours but the options are limited but after retrofit and coding everything was activated and bluetooth streaming etc etc

I had a look and there is no combox in mine,how much did that cost if you dont mind me asking?
