E46 issues after replacing starter

So bit of a strange one. After having some problems over the Christmas, I had to change the starter. Pita job so got a local auto electrician to do it. Now I'm having some strange issues. The electric mirrors don't work on command, they go different directions when adjusting with the stalk but the left still dips when reversing. Also, the parking sensors arnt working. I get the long beep warning when put it in reverse warning me they're not operational. Anyone know if this is a system issue or a possible issue that the short in the old starter caused? It's a weird one.

Sounds like an ignition switch issue. Faulty ignition switches can cause mayhem on the 38/39/46 generation cars.

You might be spot on. Checked out a few videos and a lot these issues seem to line up with faulty switch. Good place to start anyway. Cheers
