Hi, just posting this up here, this 2009 1 series 116d
Reg no. 09 D 124654 was previously clocked
it left the uk with 120k miles in 2013 & currently has 121k miles
purchased in late January out of a Mullingar dealer, since returned to garage
but maybe still in the trade

Did you purchase it yourself ?

With repect, I've no sympathies for anyone who purchases a UK import without an HPi check done....
That includes traders 'who didn't know'

Yep I bought the car off a dealer that I bought my last 3 cars off & didn't realise that it was imported until I got the tax book & did dvla search online myself,
it was a complete oversight, the dealer didn't tell me it was imported. anyway we exchanged the car but ended up buying a newer Passat (he had moved on my trade in)
wasn't my first choice but hey , you live and learn just wanted to warn anybody off the 1 series

The reg alone should tell you that it was imported. The Licensing Certificate should tell you that it was imported. The service history should tell you that it was imported. An Irish hpi check should tell you that it was imported. You get the message....

You got sorted and lesson learnt - that's the main thing.
