    X5 Hybrid

Anyone on here one, pro's, con's etc?

I brought one in last week from Edinburgh and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how quick it is.

The electric motor took over on the slower speeds through towns and villages which was strange at the start considering how quiet it is.

But all in all I was very impressed, albeit a bit slow to charge the electric motor at home.

Well it was thirsty enough on the trip back from Edinburgh also, but the short journeys should be fine if it can be kept in full electric.

Great looking X5 James, wear well. We’ve found that Auto mode is better than full electric. If you’re on full electric hills kill the range but on Auto mode the petrol engine will kick in at the right minute to save the batteries.

Welcome to forgetting what a petrol station looks like. I filled ours on Saturday and neither my wife nor I could remember the last time we’d filled it.
