Have declared all my mods and valuations to my broker. Seems to be proving very difficult to insure the m3. Probably should have said nothing. Would have insured it just fine if I didn't declare.

    Still working on it

Fingers crossed they come back with something. It's crazy when they won't even quote for a modified car.

I'm 25, 7 years NCB, no points, no endorsements etc.
Renewed my insurance at the end of April.
Car in question is an 2007 520d.
Current insurance company ( sent a renewal quote of 1800, bet it down to 1600. (3rd party fire and theft)
Tried multiple brokers/companies same ballpark as my renewal.
Ended up getting a quote from liberty ONLINE. - 800 fully comp.

In my last 8 years driving I've never gotten a realistic quote from liberty/Quinn.

Apparently it's high risk because it was a popular "reps car"

Aviva for me on the 540i this month.

    Last year, €2,071 Fully Comp
This year's renewal, €1,783, nearly a full €300 less, can't complain too much!

    I'm 24 for reference.

44 year old male with a full Irish license for 19 years and claims free driving for longer. Changed to a 2015 530d earlier this year. Renewal came in last week gone up from paying €700 last year on a 520d, to €1300 this year.

Shopped around and got it for €886 in the end with Allianz. Liberty quoted me €2500.

The M3 was always quite cheap to insure for me, considering the type of car. I need to check the records, but I'm fairly sure at one point it was sub €600 for me
