    Aftermarket FSU?

Anyone got experience with aftermarket FSUs
Mine has finally crapped itself altogether and I want air asap.

    I was looking at this:

    http://www.bmparts.co.uk/product-heater-final-stage-resistor-fsu.html

It's only £20 odd pounds on eBay

I know I'll be flamed for suggesting a non-oem part but I'm really tight this month.

It comes with a 1year warranty so can't be all that bad surely??

    RE: Aftermarket FSU?

I bought an ebay one last year but tried and failed to fit it, my heaters are fine right now
but I had planned fitting it at some stage. Was €30 or so iirc.

Used an aftermarket one from the uk on my old E36 with no issues

Otto sell a Febi one. Not sure on price but worth a call. I fitted a non OE one to an E39 before as supplied by the customer and it ended up burning out the interior fan. Never again would I fit a non OE one as it was a full dash out job!

Personally based on my own experiences that is the only fsu I would fit.
