Part of the reason early Alpina’s were so special and cool, the seats.

    E21 A1/3

E12 B7 with obligatory turbo dial at the handbrake and dashboard plaque. Dials very cool too.

E12 B7 Turbo S. Notice how the seats are now more plush

    One of the other E21’s I was interested in, a B6 2.8

When you have 2 Alpinas in the garage

Fantastic indeed ! Are these on Revenue's radar at all ? Would they know the true value of them or would they be imported as a regular 540i ?

We all know people who registered cars that weren't quite what Revenue thought they were (911 GT2/3's as regular 911's etc). I know many of these loopholes have since been closed off.....

Some have been registered under slightly different models such as a 540i, 550i etc. When the green E90 D3 was brought in, the owner was roasted on vrt. He appealed and got some back. When I was registering the E21 years ago the guy it the vrt office showed me his screen and asked me to help him try and find the right model.

The Alpina I was offered I most regret passing on and not buying. Unfortunately, my world was starting to crumble at the time so buying it would have not been possible. Alpina E30 B6 3.5S and one of 62.

I'd have to agree with Conor, Alpina B10 V8s I liked them so much I tried to build a tribute....minus the engine of course!!
