What car do you regret selling??

Was just thinking myself there what Car I shouldn’t have sold...

Sold one of my s2000s a bit early having replaced it with a 520d. Also sold a vvtli celica that I should’ve kept longer

But for me it’s the 323i e36 touring I bought from a member on here, I’m still on the lookout for something very similar

I think the hardest car you sell is the one you sell without replacing it with something better

@Obriener was that your E36 cabrio 99 D 64117? It lives close by. If you are still looking for an E36 touring Dave might still have his.

    The e36 325i that I sold in 2013.

Regretted it enough to buy it back when the opportunity arose in 2017.

Not the most exciting car, but one that I've always felt an attachment to. I nearly bought it with 30k miles in Sept 2007. I bought it with 33k in March 2008 on the way back from the Techno Classica showin Essen. Its now at 78k.

Of all the cars I have owned and sold over the years, I really regret selling my estoril blue '96 E36 M3 Evo. I did about 11k miles in it as a daily at one point and unfortunately had to sell due to a business venture going wallop.

Sold it to Stan, a member on old BMW Driver site and have not seen it since.

Has to be my old E46 325i....best car I've owned, I spent a small fortune on it over the 8 years I kept it and it had some lovely bits put on.

A subsequent owner or owners (I think it changed hands again in quick time) took the nice bits off it and put some new wheels with ditch finders on....and found a ditch. Such a shame

What car do you regret selling??

There’s a few but none of them are a BMW although the best car I owned was the beast (00 318i) but it was time to let it go so no regrets.

2000 Corolla G6 (facelift), gutless being a 6spd 1.4vvti but looked fantastic and drove really well. Being a mid noughties car it had the dodgy wheels, wavin pipe exhaust and stupidly loud sound system.

This was replaced by a 1998 Civic VTI 1.6 b16 saloon original Irish 1 owner car. Impressive car, ate the twistys really well but when a mk4 golf diesel roasted be off the line one day it got gate . No pictures of it.

Replaced it with an Mitsubishi Evo IV. This probably the car I regret selling most. Partly due to the fact it was a hoon of a car to drive and how much there worth now. It was a spotlessly clean car, not an indication of any rust and went like a lunatic. Was mostly factory when I bought it apart from a Blitz exhaust and a boost controller. Said boost controller was turned up to full retard level one day on the M1 and blew the cylinder literally clean off the block. So a full rebuild was done by yours truly with upgraded turbo, pistons, blah blah blah........ came to about 400bhp. What a weapon but had to be sold to pay for the boom time house purchase, circa 2007

Yeah, still have it. The DD ad expired around the New Year and never renewed. Was a bad time of year to try sell it. Was going to re-advertise it around Paddys Weekend but this C19 put a stop to that.
