They'll be thin on the ground I'd assume - you could try https://www.willswheels.co.uk/index.html up in Tyrone

I've found 3 but none come with history and when checked out 2 of them had double the mileage the breakers quoted, I actually didn't ring Wills as he wasn't breaking any Lci versions. He may still be worth a shout though
Did you try Valdas in Motor Confidence?
Tbh you’ll be doing well to find a low mileage one.

I may have one with 150k miles sourced, which as these go is not actually too bad. Failing that I'll give Valdas a buzz, good shout, I had forgotten about him.
Hi Damian, not sure what the full context of your situation is but as mentioned above, Valdas is great with sourcing engines and may rebuild / partial rebuild the sourced engine according to budget which will certainly give some peace of mind relative to an engine with no verifiable history etc
What happened to your engine if I may ask? I'm running an LCI e60 530d as well so kind of curious.
Hi Peter,
As to what happened my engine is a bit of a mystery, basically my mate who was home from Oz had my car for a few weeks and the temperature light came on one day.
I dropped it to a garage and they diagnosed head gasket failure. Head gasket was done along with timing chain and other preventative maintenance bits. Long story short car was reassembled but still seemed to have excess pressure in cooling system.
Radiator, water pump, thermostats, aux heater valve and pump, transmission cooler all replaced with genuine bmw parts to no avail (3 different garages)
Was told to drive the car anyway as it wasn't using coolant or overheating, that lasted 4k miles and now we're back to square 1 again. Suspected cracked block.
Patience has well and truly run out with this engine so a replacement in the only way forward really.
It has been a very costly nightmare!
That’s awful…!
I had an f10 535d engine fail on me 3 weeks into ownership last year, so feel your pain... Hope you get sorted soon!
