E60 msport suspension
I have se suspension on my pre lci 525d , and i found msport suspension from a 07 lci model , will it be a straight swap ? And is there any markings on the springs or struts that can show is msport ? Seller says it is but just want to be sure ?
And the msport is the same on 4 cylinders as is on 6?

RE: E60 msport suspension
I don't know it this helps but on the E46 the m sport shocks have Sachs labels, standard do not. Part number will be printed on them too.
Springs will prob have different colour coding too. Usually there is a difference between 4cyl and 6cyl models . The latter having a heavier front end. A 520d set in your would probably mean a few more mm drop in the front

99% that they are different between 4 and 6 pot due to the weight of engine. Not sure if springs and dampers(could be just springs). You can try check them by a part numbers via bmwfans site.
Good point is that lci sport suspension was better than pre lci sport one
