E36 airbag light issue
I recently replaced the seats in My 318is and in a rush to get the job done, I snipped the 2 wires running up into the seats from underneath. The new seats are Vaders and don't have anything to connect these to.
What way can I get rid of the airbag light that's now on the dash?Ni heard someone say to use resistors but what value? Also do I need it coded or whatever to get rod of the light after that?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

RE: E36 airbag light issue
Cool, thanks. What type of resistors? Like what value or ohms or whatever they're measured in?

Measure the resistance of the original seats if you still have them and post it up here, I've a selection of resistors here I'll post you one of the correct value if you measure it.

So these are the 2 wires in question.
Is the emulator Gar posted a simple, hook it up and the light goes off or what's involved? Will it work?
Thanks again,

On my e46 the airbag bypass was a plug and play jobby, you should have a connecter originally on those wires before ye cut them?
