I think Europe (with the exception of Ireland and UK) got the e39 520d so there's another variation:tounge:

That sounds and looks pretty tasty! Just nice and subtle. What kit is that?Originally Posted by KevinF

I much prefer that to the tec 2 I'd say, wonder why it isn't as popular. Guess it's the same with the e46 tec 1 / 2 kits.
Went looking for a 333i a few years ago but it didn't happen. I think two came in here some years ago.
The 524td started with the E28 and there was 324d and 324td in the E30.
The 525e was universally an auto but 20 manuals were produced as a special batch just for here. Would love to know if any survived.
Regards,
Andy
Its not thats its not as popular per se - Tec 1 only properly fitted a facelift (pre 87) car, Tec 2 only properly fits a facelift car. The older ones tended to be the first ones to succumb to rust, bad driving etc. The pre facelift 325i sport was introduced pretty late in the life of the car too, so the number of cars out there with it were just lower as a result.Originally Posted by Peter-E36

Don't forget the E30 320is for the Portuguese and Italian markets. Would of suited the Irish market too but i guess we're too small to justify a RHD version.
