Modifications to an E90
Well I have spent endless hours of research to narrow down a list of modifications you can do to an M-Sport e90 to improve it but still remain as OEM as physically possible, i have also spent a considerable amount of time finding the cheapest place to pick up the parts and having ordered pretty much all of them this morning, thought i would share my experience.
So this is the list of modifications i ended up with after much deliberation
1. OEM style lip boot spoiler
2. Genuine BMW performance gearknob and gaitor
3. OEM BMW performance handbrake and gaitor
4. Genuine M3 steering wheel trim
5. H & R Spacers
6. Dension Gateway BT
7. Weisslicht led reg plate lights
Boot Spoiler
This is one aspect that i could just not justify going OEM on because of the drastic price difference, when there is likely to be very little difference in quality. After some research it would seem that the link below is a nice middle ground between the two.

BMW Performance Gear Knob and Handbrake
I dont know about the rest of you but i cant get enough of BMW performance interior bits - the ones below seem to be the best of the list that dont require a mortage and after a bit of digging they are very reasonably priced in the links below

M3 Steering Wheel Trim
Now i needed a steering wheel trim anyway so whether or not its worth the green, if yours is ok, is up to yourself, but its the subtle differences to stock that make a car IMO
Best price below

H & R Spacers
For hubcentric spacers you cant go wrong with H & R, not to mention they do the matching black OEM bolts, i got mine from Ken (thanks Ken) but they can also be got from the link below
12mm seem to fit the rear wheels best on an 8.5J 18" wheel

Weisslicht Reg Plate Lights
This is something i spent a long long time researching; there is a very fine line between tacky and nice on these IMO. With most of the ebay ones you could read a book, under a blanket, wearing sunglasses at nightime when you were behind the car.
The above seem to be the right blend of good quaility, ever so slightly brighter than stock OEM white and error free

Hope the above saves some e90 owners some time
Some will probably think an Eibach Pro Kit is missing from the list but i like the stock ride height and wouldnt change it, everyone knows the man to go to if they want one though
Also on my list was a detail from the shed, a wheel refurb, some german plates (with normal zeros) and retrim from royal; steering wheels but no research required for them

RE: Modifications to an E90
Nice list
Personally I was disappointed by H&R spacers as they rusted real quick, including the bolts, which was a serous let down on the look of the wheels
If you bought them in black hopefully they won't rust, mines were silver.
