Ha ha Dave I actually thought you. Did some work for
A change
Actually it was yesterday but I think I last had the car waxed back in August, with two coats of CG Black over whatever was on the paint at the time. It was just a quick job to get the car through a 'ring trip. The weather has been so shit since that I haven't bothered with re-waxing the car yet for winter but I have been using Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax after each wash. The effects last about a week (which is perfect as the car is washed every week) but the water beading is as they claim, relentless.

As it looked like the weather was going to be dry today, set about giving a proper clean. First up Orchard Cotton Candy Snow Foam
Snowfoam 1.jpg
After that washed down with the 2BM using Maxolen Shampoo (smells great!)
Poart Wash 1.jpg
Next up was a de-tar using Orcard De-Tar Gel

With the basic wash done, time to tackle the clay bar (my first time doing this). Have to say very easy to do & took much less time than I thought with great results

Once claying was done, another snowfoam & wash and then dried with a micro-fibre towel. Next up was a coat of Bilt Hamber Auto Balm

After 4 hours, was feeling a bit knackered, but happy with the results, finished off with some Meguiars tyre shine:

Good work lads!
In the absence of pictures -
dry snow foam with autobrite super snow foam
hand wash with bramley bubble bath (I cannot recommend this shampoo highly enough)
clean the shitty bits (orchard auto care APC and a cooking brush)
Hand wash again
Wax with commercial (coloured) nano wax
Quick detail shine
I blame the bubble bath for the continuing beading - always makes me smile
It's a bit shiney too...

wtf - can some please help me not post these massive pics
obviously that's NOT an absence of pics
Good man Dave - looking well!
