Re: looking for genuine realistic thoughts on a transplant,

Is there something about single vanos from e39 not being suitable for e46 or something? Remember hearing along them lines before!

Not sure if that lump in the ad is single or double though so I could be spouting shite!!:s:s:blush:

RE: looking for genuine realistic thoughts on a transplant,

Unless you're really tied to the car, just buying a 325 or a 330 for less than you'd sell your 318 is surely the best thing to do?

Saying that, I've no idea how much an engine and labour would amount to

I do really like MY car, it's spotless with no marks/ scratches and a great sound system, the colour is great too, it's sitting lovley on the coilovers now too, I want to keep it, just want more power, and cheap tax as I HATE the ass rape of taxing a 2.5 or a 3.0, that's just me.
I know everyone has thier own opinion on this that's just mine, I don't want the thread turning into the "if you can't tax it, don't buy it" brigade,
Having said that, if a peach came up for nice money like yours Donal, I'd jump on it,
I won't find anything as clean as mine for the money, seriously, I'd love to stick a pic up of it as its sitting now.
