So, anyone dealt with Yomac before, or know them? What's their reputation?
Cheers!

Not for me, but for my missus.... She doesn't know what she wants really, but I'm looking at something along the lines of this: http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/audi/a5/used-2010-audi-a5-2-0-tdi-se-spor-dublin-fpa-90114131986101430Originally Posted by Peter-E36

Not sure on either of them. Don't know a whole lot about audi or jags let alone diesels!! She was looking at diesel merc coupes but still big money and again I wouldn't have a clue about them. Cab had mentioned looking at the Santa Fe, but she (The Missus) reckons they're too square!!
These are the Mercs she was looking at:
Her favourite one: http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/mercedes-benz/c-class/used-2012-mercedes-benz-c-class-c-dublin-fpa-62914062851593390?SOURCE_ID=SOURCE_ID_FPA_FROM_FEA T_LIST
My preference: http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/mercedes-benz/c-class/used-2011-mercedes-benz-c-class-dublin-fpa-85614115558875680
I know nothing about all of the above in terms of reliability / things to watch out for etc but I like the Mercs
I'd love an XF but V8 or nothin
Hyundais are hateful things imo... I'd never pay any kind of money for a Korean car when the market is full of well established european cars for sale.
Yomac have a 3.0D V6 in prep but I'm a little reluctant to look for something with that size engine especially just for her to drive!!! Plus she'd be giving out about the poxy tax. I do like the merc's interiors. But the problem is, there's one-here, one-there scattered around a few garages whereas Yomac have 3 or 4 I'd be interested in viewing!Originally Posted by Peter-E36
HA, well I have a lot of respect for Hyundai now after she crashed her iX35 and when I saw what she 'walked' away from, I was impressed and thankful for how well it protected the cabin from anything coming through the scuttle! But sure, that's heading off topic now!!Originally Posted by Peter-E36
All I know is they are well established there many years and always have a good stock of motors towards the higher end of the market. Drive by it a lot looking in at the cars.
Thanks Johnny! I found an old thread over on driver dating back to 2007 and it just mentions that the particular car being posted about was an english import. I wonder would it be the case that most of their stock is imported!?Originally Posted by Johnnyghia
They seem to be Jag specialists too, so they'd know of any problems or what to look for in them, but how forthcoming would they be in telling a prospective buyer I wonder!
