I can't justify another car John as much as I would love one.

I will hopefully be taking one for a spin on Thursday so I will report back on my findings. I have high expectations. :smiling:
Depending on how the drive goes the man maths might commence!
Don't be putting silly ideas into my head

Correct, I believe it is a full days work to take the panels off and another full day to put the new set on.

If you bought a colour that you liked, I can't think why you you would bother going to all that trouble.

    Thoughts on the Z1

The car is far from fast and many did say it should have had more power. But it's still a very nice drive. If pushing in and exploring the handling I would say you would notice more difference with the E30.

The fun yellow car had pools of water sitting on the seats at one stage!! It did need some TLC but nothing major to get it cleaned up.

And as I told you, you can always build another garage behind mine for storage.

I seem to recall Eddie Irvine had a Z1. Seriously cool cars IMO

    Thoughts on the Z1

I was behind a yellow one possibly a NI reg on the M50 about 2 years ago. IIRC a big show was on that day. A bit too quaint for my liking but I'd say it would be great in a sunny climate.

Go for the Alpina version.... would be more interesting to drive.

    Definitely an appreciating classic.

The Alpina RLE is very nice and slightly more powerful to boot, but with only 66 cars made they are more than double the price of a regular Z1.
