E46 abs issues

Hi all,

I'm currently having a bit of bother with the abs on my 323ci, have the yellow traction and DSC and red handbrake stop light on, neither my c110 scanner nor the snap on scanner will communicate with abs it just keeps telling me it can not connect.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any tips or recommendations on someone/where that could diagnose?

Which diagnostic socket are you connecting too, the round one under the bonnet or rectangular one under the steering wheel?

If you have 2 diag ports then always use the round one in the engine bay.
Many bmw around the year 2000 are like that.

Oh ok, thanks never realised that! Would anyone on here have a scanner that connects via this port?

Or could anyone recommend somewhere that I could take it to get it scanned? Need to get it sorted for my test ASAP.
