    Not true i was with fbd up until last month no issues same with a friend of mine and his e36
    They wouldn't quote for the 525 or the M5.
    No suprise they just make rules up as they go if "computer says no" then thats the end of it i was with them for 2yrs good company but renewal rate was almost 500e more in june im with aig now should be fun next year as my car will be 15yrs old

    Ridiculous altogether, more often than not enthusiast owned cars regardless of age are in better shape and maintained over and above what you would call routine maintenance.

    One company refused to quote me due to the car being over ten years old I was with fbd last year they basically doubled my insurance quote this year after another year of safe driving and also said the book price of the touring was 2,700 i'm with britton insurance now cheapest of all I tried full comp too
    insurance companies seem to just pluck a price out of the sky and expect you to say that's a grand price ill go with that

    If they stop insuring cars over 15 years old, then should they be made to lower the classic insurance to 15 years?
