In the office and don't have the full list of changes in front of me but this is what I can remember off the top of my head.

    Brake lines changed (corrosion)
All piping replaced and changed to copper (rust on exhaust)
Rubber seals changed in rear diff and topped up with oil (was leaking)
Rear springs changed (crack in back left)
    Tierod in steering rack replaced
DSC sesnor replacing - DSC light & hand brake light were permanently on (both amber) and couldn't be turned back off. Would happen at various intervals and for varying periods of time, sometimes for a few minutes and other times for long journeys.

Full work came to about 2k but all covered under BMW warranty and the car is like brand new now. Point is, make sure you get some one to check underneath the car or you could run in to some costly changes if buying without warranty.

Something to be aware of - on particularly cold mornings from a cold start the car can "jerk" when driving at low speeds shortly after take off. Common in many M3, just need to let it get up to temperature before setting off
Are they going to replace the exhaust? Thought that was stainless steel actually! Yes the 'Kangarooing' is well known on the M3. I jsut drive off immediately and just use light throttle..usually don't have issues then

I'm probably a little odd, but I love the M3 cold. The little backfire from the exhaust and growl from the cold s54! Can't beat it!

Ditto. There's a way of leaving the popping (overrun) on when warm

I imported this in 2008. It was in very good condition when I sold it. I should have the original ad for it and the UK history. What do you want to know about it? Been tempted to buy it back tbh. Best car ever!

Did the guy mention it got a full rear quarter panel replaced?? I was very interested in viewing the car but with cluthh on the way out and rear quarter damage I was put off.. Especially as TommyTs old car went for similar money and had all the essential work carried out
