Re: Prepping car for winter?
I guess a coolant refresh as well and maybe checking all the bulbs are working. Replace the windscreen wipers and make sure the tyres aren't over inflated. Then exercise caution with all the wet leaves and shit everywhere. And pray it doesn't snow!!
Also regular pressure washing underneath the car and in the wheel arches to keep the rock-salt at bay!

Put a woolly hat in the glovebox. You never know!

RE: Prepping car for winter?
As Paddy stated, a coolant flush and refill if it's due! I usually carry out an oil change aswell and then prep the bodywork..polish and a few coats of wax and coat the wheels too

Prepping car for winter?
Get yourself a bottle of gummi pledge and do the door seals will stop them sticking in the morning from frost ,throw 2 dehumidifier bags in the back to catch any condensation and lastly activate heated seats for toasty buns

Couple of coats of wax on the paint and wheels
Throw an old warm jacket in the boot as well as hat and gloves and hi vis vest just in case.
Make sure the spare is ok as plenty of big pot holes could appear if the weather gets bad and easy to bust a tire.

Collinite is my favourite pre winter wax. Lasts ages.

I don't have a spare at all actually! No wheel well, space saver would take up the whole boot, and run flats are shit so I just take my chances... Have breakdown cover
